No way!!! Who in their right mind would drink real bong water and enjoy it? Our energized soft drinks™ were developed to be a fun alternative to the usual highly carbonated soft drinks (aka "sugar water" to the health conscious), and the over caffeinated energy drinks in the little cans that jack you up for an hour or more and then drop kick you like a bad case of jet lag (so you have to keep slamming them little cans to keep going... sounds addictive and expensive, don't it?). Kind of like amalgamating a nutritious non-carbonated sports energy drink and a good cup of coffee(without the caffeine jitters). Anyone who needs a quick pick me up (not a jump start) or a mellow mood lift from a satisfyingly delicious tasting vitamin enriched soft drink can enjoy our Bong Water®! The outrageous names and labels are there to catch your eye and make you giggle("these guys have got to be nuts!").
That depends on your frame of mind. Being "high" is a state of mind as much as a physical thing. If you mean will this energized soft drink™ line get you hammered, wired, fried and laid on your side, the answer is no. If you mean will it give you a gentle lift and make you more alert... or perk you up and help maintain a happy and mellow disposition, then the answer is yes. Our fun "high" is perfectly legal and is good for you... as good as an energized soft drink™ can be and as safe as coffee. (Our soft drinks contain no phosphoric acid, which some medical studies have linked to stomach ulcers and other health related problems. The proprietary vitamin C & B Complex are added to increase your energy and help relieve stress.)
Our Bong Water® Energized Soft Drinks™ are made to taste great by themselves, great with food, or good mixers for those who able to consume alcoholic beverages. We strive for a rich and satisfying taste sensation with every flavor. We want you to taste more than just the fizz or vitamins... who says that something good for you has to taste like medicine? We use a low carbonation level to enhance your sensory experience and not dominate the drink. Less bloating and the crisp popping of the bubbles tingle and dance around your mouth with every sip... no burning, less belching!
The nutritional folks we consult with tell us that the optimal benefit level of caffeine per 12 ounce consumed is between 100 to 120 milligrams, about as much as a regular cup of coffee. We shoot for 105 milligrams per 12 ounces just to be on the safe side. Too much caffeine can give you the jitters, make you hyper, give you the squirts, and wear down your body's immunity effectiveness. With all of the diseases and heath threats roaming around these days... compromising one's immunity system is not a good idea. Most of our awesome flavors contain varying levels of vitamins C, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, and B12. We work to provide the most viable and functional combination of these vitamins to give the greatest benefit to our friends and customers. Some of our specialty flavors have even more good stuff in them (read about them throughout our web site!).
We do not use Phosphoric Acid or some of the other scary stuff that is out there. We also do not feel comfortable with most of the artificial sweeteners ready used throughout the food industry. We are looking for other sources and safer sweeteners to replace some or all of the sugar currently used in our drinks. Until then, we will not produce a low calorie or sugar free drink.
Our Bong Water® Energized Soft Drinks™ are usually bottled in 12 ounce clear and/or brown glass bottles (beer style bottles) for added uniqueness and personal enjoyment (There is just something about drinking from glass that no other material can duplicate). We wanted our energized soft drinks™ to look cool and sophisticated, feel good in your hand, and taste great. Most of us here at Bong Water® Head Quarters™ are goof balls that love to play jokes and laugh, at ourselves as well as the world around us. We feel that people need to lighten up and chill out before they blow a fuse or something. Life is too short and we need to enjoy as much of it as possible. The Original 420 Chronic Tonic™, an eclectic South American styled citrus medley with grapefruit and guava and other goodies, its taste changes with every sip. The colder it is the more citrus you taste, as it warms up the guava takes on a honeyllike sweetness. We have not found another soft drink like it anywhere!
Purple Haze™, a punched up blueberry/blue raspberry that is colored to resemble a black light for those who want more of a 60's experience and for extra fun, it will turn your mouth vibrant blue for about an hour or so... Jimi would be so proud.
Green Dreams™ is an honest and sublime lime flavor that is bright emerald green and very refreshing.
Erin Murray's Cottonmouth Quencher™ is a unique blend of vanilla creme soda and ginger ale designed by one of our Original 420 Honeys. A surprisingly refreshing drink unlike any other we have found. Just when your taste buds recognize the rich creme soda flavor, the ginger ale kamakazi dives in and torches away the cottonmouth and the thick saliva that usually follows most creme sodas. It's awesome!
Doo Whut?™ is our Indiana answer to "Mountain Dew®"(our favorite soda before we got into the biz), but without the acid burn... here in Indiana we say, "Ya wanna Doo Whut?"
Jamaican Sunrise™ is an exotic and subtle blend of sweet apricot and peaches that has a Caribbean smoothness. This is not a super sweet syrupy tasting peach... it goes great with food. Our number one seller in our local eateries and pizza joints.
Bell Bottom Blooz™, in honor of Eric Clapton... it is a blueberry/citrus punch that is sure to chase away the blues.
